Use Claude to review and adjust your TAU assistants with more context and safety.
TAU on Claude
With the TAU integration for Claude, you can ask for help reviewing and adjusting your assistants in natural language — without having to remember where every setting is in the TAU dashboard.
The Claude integration is currently in beta for selected customers. To enable it for your account, contact TAU support.
What you can do
After connecting your TAU account to Claude, Claude can help you:
- List the assistants you manage
- Review basic assistant settings
- Adjust assistant name, company description, language, response timing, tone of voice, answer length, and emoji usage
- Create, find, edit, and remove Knowledge Base items
- Create, review, edit, remove, and organize Situations for sales, scheduling, support, and human handoff
- List recent conversations and review important messages
- Test the assistant as if it were a customer after a change
- Review Leo's analysis of conversations, sentiment, evaluations, handoffs, and cases that need attention, with context about data coverage
- Point you to the right TAU dashboard screen when you ask where to configure something
- Explain when to use the Knowledge Base and when to use Situations
Before you start
You need:
- A TAU account with administrator access to the assistant
- The TAU integration for Claude enabled for your account
- The TAU connector added in Claude
- The TAU Assistant Manager Skill installed in Claude
Step 1 — Add the TAU connector
In Claude:
- Open Customize → Connectors
- Click Add custom connector
- Fill in the connector fields:

- Name:
- Click Add or Connect
- Sign in with your TAU account when the login screen opens
- Go back to the conversation and enable the TAU connector under Connectors
In Team or Enterprise accounts, an organization administrator may need to add the connector before other members can connect it.
Step 2 — Install the TAU Assistant Manager Skill
The Skill teaches Claude the correct TAU terms and workflows. For example, it helps Claude understand the difference between Knowledge Base and Situations.

Then, in Claude:
- Open Customize → Skills
- Click +
- Choose Upload a skill
- Upload

Step 3 — Test it
Start a new Claude conversation, enable the TAU connector, and try:
List my TAU assistants.After Claude shows your assistants, choose one and ask for something specific:
Review my company's assistant configuration and tell me what could be improved.Make the assistant more direct, with shorter answers and no emojis.Create a Knowledge Base item explaining our business hours.Which conversations from the last 7 days had a poor evaluation or negative sentiment? Show a few examples.Which Situations does this assistant have? Then show me the details of the discount Situation.Safety notes
Claude should ask for confirmation before changing or deleting content. When analyzing Leo numbers, it should also explain whether the analysis covers all conversations in the period or only the conversations that already have an available evaluation.
Keep customer data and real conversations protected, and only share what is necessary for the task.
