This English version is provided to help international customers understand TAU's terms. If there is any conflict between versions, the Portuguese version and the applicable signed agreement prevail.
Introduction
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the TAU platform, including AI assistants, dashboards, integrations, connectors, documentation, and related services.
By using TAU, you agree to use the platform responsibly, keep your account secure, and comply with applicable laws and customer agreements.
The TAU service
TAU provides AI-powered sales and customer service assistants that can operate across channels such as WhatsApp, websites, CRM tools, calendars, payment providers, and AI connectors.
The exact features, limits, support levels, and commercial terms may vary according to the proposal, contract, plan, or SLA agreed with each customer.
Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account, billing, and configuration information
- Keeping access credentials and connected accounts secure
- Ensuring they have the right to process and share customer data through TAU
- Reviewing assistant behavior, Knowledge Base content, Situations, and integrations
- Using TAU in compliance with laws, platform rules, and third-party terms
Data protection and LGPD
Depending on the context, TAU may act as a data processor/operator on behalf of the customer and as a controller for its own administrative, billing, security, and product operations.
Details about data processing, retention, sharing, and rights are described in the Privacy Policy and, when applicable, in a specific data processing agreement.
Availability and support
TAU works to keep the platform stable and secure. Specific availability commitments, support times, credits, or penalties only apply when expressly stated in a proposal, contract, or specific SLA.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation, suspension, refunds, and billing adjustments follow the customer's plan, proposal, contract, or specific commercial agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, amounts already due for services provided remain payable.
Intellectual property
TAU owns the platform, software, documentation, brand assets, and technology used to provide the service. Customers keep ownership of their own business data, content, and customer relationships.
Case studies and brand use
TAU may mention a customer's name, logo, or public case only when authorized or when permitted by the applicable agreement. Real conversations or customer data may only be used in aggregated, anonymized, or specifically authorized form.
Governing law and venue
Unless a specific agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by Brazilian law, and the courts of São Paulo, SP, Brazil are elected to resolve disputes.
