This English version is provided to help international customers understand TAU's privacy practices. If there is any conflict between versions, the Portuguese version and the applicable customer agreement prevail.

Introduction

At TAU, privacy and security are part of how we build the product. This policy explains, in clear language, what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and which rights you have under applicable data protection laws, including Brazil's LGPD.

What we collect

Depending on how you use TAU, we may process:

• Account and contact information, such as name, email, company, role, and billing details
• Assistant configuration, including tone, behavior, channels, integrations, Knowledge Base items, and Situations
• Conversation data exchanged through TAU assistants and connected channels
• Usage, analytics, and audit records needed to operate, secure, and improve the service
• Technical information such as browser, device, IP address, access logs, and security events

How we use data

We use data to:

• Provide and operate the TAU platform
• Configure and improve AI assistants
• Support customers and troubleshoot issues
• Keep the platform secure and prevent abuse
• Measure product usage and service performance
• Meet legal, tax, contractual, and regulatory obligations

AI connectors and integrations

When you connect TAU to external tools such as Claude, WhatsApp, CRM systems, calendars, payment providers, or other services, data may be shared only as needed to perform the requested action. Each external service may also apply its own terms and privacy policy.

Retention

We retain data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including service operation, customer support, security, legal obligations, contractual requirements, and backup routines. Retention periods may vary by data category and by the customer agreement.

Your rights
